Glen Park

Known as “Little Switzerland” when originally developed; due to its natural hills and quaint homes. Glen Park retains this natural charm and now is a sought after neighborhood after many years of people asking “Where is Glen Park?”

Located south of Noe Valley, down the hill from Diamond Heights, east of Sunnyside and across Mission St from Bernal Heights. Downtown Glen Park (Diamond and Bosworth) is often referred to as “The Village”. With several restaurants (Chenery Park, Gialinas, Le’Petit Laurent, Osha Thai, La Corneta), Cafes (Higher Grounds, Café Bello, Pebbles), a new upscale grocery store called Canyon Market, a casual wine bar called Red & White, nail & hair salons, an old fashioned hardware store, yoga & Pilates instructions, day care and a brand new public library make this small “Village” a complete environment for ones needs. In addition, there is a BART station, 280 freeways, and the J Church streetcar and bus lines to access other SF or Bay Area locations.

Glen Park Canyon is a special treasure complete with tennis courts, hiking trails, native plantings, a recreation center, summer camp, and picnic area and baseball/soccer fields.

There is no reason to take your car out on the weekends when you live in Glen Park!
